They are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join their Data Science team, where the role focuses on developing and deploying AI solutions that drive strategic decision-making and transform business processes in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end machine learning and AI solutions supporting various enterprise use cases using LLMs, deep learning, and probabilistic models from conception to production
- Build and scale Generative AI (GenAI) and Agentic AI systems that align with business objectives and operational needs
- Establish best practices in AI development, ensuring responsible AI deployment, transparency, and ethical considerations are integrated into all projects
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop robust, scalable AI pipelines, APIs, and infrastructure that facilitate seamless integration with existing systems
- Create prototypes and deliver AI-powered applications such as web interfaces, dashboards, and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making across departments
- Evaluate and improve LLM and agentic behaviors across different foundation models, benchmarks, and workflows, including prompt management and multi-step reasoning
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into ongoing projects
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of AI initiatives
Requirements:
- Strong background in data science, machine learning, and AI engineering with a focus on practical application and deployment
- Minimum of 5 years of proficiency in SQL, database design, and Python
- Familiarity in R being advantageous
- Deep understanding of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and probabilistic modeling
- At least 3 years of experience in data science or AI roles
- Hands-on experience in deploying AI solutions using frameworks like agentcore, strands, langchain, MCP, or A2A
- Experience with cloud-native development, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
