About this role
VSP Vision Care is on a mission to help people see every possibility, connecting nearly 90 million patients to network doctors. The AI Internship offers aspiring computer science professionals the chance to gain practical experience by assisting with VSP's AI efforts, including data training set curation and programming with LLM to automate processes.
Responsibilities:
- The intern will assist VSP AI efforts by curating a data training set. The work will consist of editing the training data file, running the training jobs, and evaluating the results. Programming with the LLM to automate curation. Documenting results. Using the evaluation results to guide further curation practices:
- Basic Prompt Engineering
- Programming with the LLM to automate curation
- Interacting with the LLM to evaluate results
Requirements:
- 3rd year/4th year student in Computer Science
- Facilities to work remotely, including private or semi-private workspace
- Access to high-speed internet
- Technology will be provided
- Problem-solving skills
- General understanding of secure coding requirements
- Use of AWS services
- Fundamentals of text editing (MS Word, Notepad++), spreadsheets (Excel), and web browsers (Chrome)
