Production Software Engineer II

NetSuite, part of Oracle, is focused on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health. The Production Software Engineer will provide client-facing technical investigation and issue resolution for software products, analyzing client-reported technical issues in collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance necessary for this role, which requires being a US citizen
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 1-8 years of professional experience programming or troubleshooting Java code (or equivalent such C++ or C#)
• Databases, data models, and schema (ex: Oracle MySQL)
• Linux OS via command line
• Analyze software design and code flows
• Access code and track changes through Github
• Investigate and troubleshoot applications and services in JAVA and SQL Databases by reviewing log files
• Test workflows in client and internal domains
• Compare functionality between code levels, check configuration settings and review source code to determine the cause and resolution of reported issues
• Resolve high-priority and high-impact issues during on-call rotations (24x7 support for critical incidents)
• Participate in Problem Management discussions with IP counterparts
