Senior Software Engineer - Grants for Public Funding

Forum Ventures is an innovative, AI-driven platform helping impact-driven companies secure grant funding. They are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to develop and improve their AI-powered platform, working across the entire tech stack to create efficient, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain features across our full technology stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement security and data protection measures
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering best practices
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements:

• Strong experience with our tech stack: Svelte, Python, PostgreSQL (Neon), Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proven track record of building and shipping production-ready web applications
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
• Meaningful experience building products in startup environments
• Strong collaborator, and highly effective in a remote environment
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and integrations
• Familiarity with grant funding processes or impact-driven sectors (climate, healthcare, defense, and deep tech)
• Contributions to open-source projects
