Healthcare IT Project Manager - Critical Support II

Oracle is on a journey to advance how health happens with technologies that support clinicians and empower patients. They are seeking a proactive, technically-skilled Lead Project Manager to oversee and drive critical support processes within their healthcare IT environment, focusing on incident management and service improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee critical support items on the VA project, managing issues that cannot be resolved through traditional support means
• Drive the project management lifecycle for issue resolution, ensuring each incident is handled efficiently and effectively
• Manage deliverables throughout the support project, including milestones and project schedules
• Provide feedback to the team, customers, and corporate stakeholders when project milestones or schedules are at risk
• Ensure projects align with the goals and timelines outlined in the scope of work and schedule
• Communicate status updates to customer stakeholders and internal management
• Ensure consistency and best practices are utilized while adhering to customer standards
• Utilize knowledge of the Cerner Millennium platform or other EHR systems to execute basic troubleshooting and support
• Create and manage an overall project plan (including budget, structure, schedule, and staffing needs) for one or more Oracle engagements. Monitor and report progress/changes against the plan. Drive implementation by providing motivation and direction

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in Cerner Millennium or equivalent EHR systems
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in healthcare IT environments
• Ability to develop and refine processes for incident management and service improvement
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve project challenges
