Oracle is a leading company in AI and cloud solutions that impact billions of lives. They are seeking a Data Center Regional Consulting Engineer to oversee tenant improvement works, empower a culture of safety, and support on-site operations related to mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing new sites and proposed fit out designs
- Ensuring mechanical plans are accurate, fail-over design are compliant
- Developing digitized mechanical models
- Supporting supplier whitespace fit out
- Ensuring documentation is captured, stored, referenced, and share with field engineering and operation teams
- Supporting engineering investigations into large scale events
- Supporting field engineering teams
Requirements:
- A strong desire and capability to learn, grow, and develop new skills
- Oversee Tenant Improvement works associated with white space fit out of new data center spaces
- Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of data center activities
- Understand the design and functionality of your datacenter
- Work with design, construction, and commissioning teams to properly integrate the new mechanical systems to existing data centers
- Support and validate on-site datacenters operations in relation to the mechanical infrastructure
- Be a mechanical SME to support on-site operations related to mission critical mechanical system, operations, and functionality
- Develop digitized mechanical distribution templates to support rack placement
- Empower operational optimization and efficiency improvement initiatives
- 25-50% travel will be required
