Civil Engineer Consultant

Aligned Labs is seeking talented Civil Engineers to join their team of AI industry consultants for part-time, remote work supporting AI research. The role involves contributing expertise in infrastructure design, construction project management, and structural analysis to cutting-edge AI projects.

Requirements:

• You are a native or fluent English speaker and can confidently write at the university level
• You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• You have a minimum of 3 years of professional civil engineering experience working on meaningful infrastructure projects at an engineering consultancy, government agency, contractor, or developer
• You have demonstrable expertise in areas such as structural analysis, transportation design, geotechnical engineering, water resources, construction management, or infrastructure planning
• You possess exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex engineering concepts and technical recommendations clearly
• PE licensure is strongly preferred
