Horizontal Talent is seeking a passionate and skilled Senior Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage expertise in cloud-based data engineering and data warehousing to drive impactful solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and management of ETL processes for data marts using Snowflake and SQL Server
- Design and maintain data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory to support operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and consistent data flow
- Monitor and optimize data workflows to maintain high performance and reliability
- Identify and resolve complex technical challenges to enhance operational efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members to support project execution and alignment
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-based data engineering and data warehousing
- Proficiency in Snowflake, including automated data ingestion workflows and SQL procedures
- Hands-on experience with Azure data tools, SQL Server, and Blob Storage
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to uphold data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in Azure or Snowflake is a plus
- Familiarity with data modeling and database design
- Knowledge of data governance and quality best practices
- Experience with medical claims processing systems and related workflows
- Background in data science and analytics is advantageous
