Software Engineering Intern

Responsibilities:

• Join our mentor-based internship program tailored for aspiring IT and software development enthusiasts
• Interns will be assigned a full-time mentor and will be embedded in team projects where possible
• Through hands-on guidance and individualized attention, interns will delve into real-world projects, gaining invaluable insights, skills, and practical knowledge
• Java or Python programming
• Implementing software for ingesting geospatial data into RDBMS
• Preparing briefings and architecture design diagrams
• Assisting in software development projects under the guidance of senior engineers
• Writing, testing, and debugging code
• Participating in code reviews to learn best practices
• Researching and implementing new technologies or tools
• Documenting code and processes for future reference
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

Requirements:

• US Citizenship required
• Major in computer science, engineering, MIS, or information technology
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Thorough understanding of internet research
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
