They are seeking an Oracle CPQ Software Engineer to play a critical role in development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of their CPQ environment, collaborating with team members to enhance CPQ solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Domain Specialist with the CPQ Solution Delivery team for the Enterprise CPQ program
- Actively participate in system design sessions which include user interviews, requirements documentation and data collection
- Collaborate with technical solution partner owners and SMEs on system integration needs to present solutions to stakeholders
- Develop and present scalable prototypes, proof of concepts, and technical designs for current and new Oracle CPQ projects
- Execute CPQ administrative tasks such as Environment Setup, Data Table Management, File Manager, User & Group Management, and Parts Creation
- Perform technical unit testing and coordinate with BAs and Workstream SMEs on function testing
- Troubleshoot complex CPQ issues, perform root cause analysis and escalate to Oracle Support as needed for timely resolution
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Manage conflicting priorities, including post-production support
- Navigate and debug complex BML libraries to determine an issue or add functionality and document the changes clearly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience, or been involved in at least 2 implementations, in Oracle CPQ, including integrations with Oracle Cloud and/or other systems
- Expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud (BigMachines) development and configuration
- Proven experience in managing and successfully delivering complex projects
- Technical hands-on development for Oracle CPQ Cloud including Configuration, Commerce, Document Designer, Workflow Approvals, Email Templates, BML, and Layout Design
- Thorough understanding of the Opportunity to Quote to Order lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Willingness to learn and explore other CPQ tools and applications as required
- Document design, code consistently throughout the design/development process
- Knowledge of related Oracle Fusion modules like Product Information Management, Inventory, Pricing, Costing, and Order Management
- Strong understanding of SOAP and REST APIs for integrating third-party systems
- Hands-on experience with CPQ integrations, especially with Salesforce and Oracle Sales Cloud
- Experience with Javascript and jquery
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Experience in manufacturing use of CPQ
