Buckeye Global is seeking an IAM Security Engineer to manage Highly Privileged Access Logging and Monitoring. This role involves collaborating with technology teams to onboard applications to the Monitoring Framework and utilizing Splunk for log analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Build dashboards and queries in Splunk Clouds to analyze event patterns and present meaningful trends and insights
- Standardize metrics and reporting of HPA Monitoring to drive more efficient program oversight
- Interview application teams to determine log capabilities
- Analyze application logs to determine Splunk onboarding eligibility
- Organize, prioritize, and communicate program deliverables and progress to senior leadership
- Identify program risks and recommend thoughtful mitigations
Requirements:
- A total of 3 years working experience, with a minimum of 1 year's engineering and/or architecture experience in IAM or adjacent InfoSec domains, such as Data Protection or Security Engineering and in lieu of a degree 5+ years of working experience
- A minimum of 1-year hands-on experience with IAM technologies
- Deep understanding of Splunk Cloud and Splunk Processing Language (SPL)
- Experience working in a cloud (PaaS) environment
- Knowledge of foundational IAM concepts – Authentication, Authorization, RBAC, etc
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in Agile methodology, leveraging Jira and Jira Align
