Mechanical Project Engineer

Core States Group is a company dedicated to improving everyday life through their projects and services. They are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to design and manage mechanical engineering projects, coordinating with various engineering disciplines and ensuring adherence to client and code requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visit investigations as well as generate reports/recommendations based on findings
• Produce design plans, calculations and reports with limited direction
• Coordinate with subconsultants, provide client interaction support, establish and maintain phase and task level budgets as well as schedule project phases and tasks
• Schedule production staff and lead them through tasks, coordinate and assist with addendums, RFIs, and change orders
• Assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and contract document phases of a project
• Other related responsibilities as necessary to fulfill the objectives of this role

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
• 4+ years of experience with general building mechanical design production, preferably with commercial projects such as retail, restaurants, grocery, financial, and/or convenience stores
• PE License required
• AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Required
