Sr. Consulting Engineer - Generator

They are seeking a Sr. Consulting Engineer to support generator engineering activities, serving as a subject matter expert for consulting projects and demonstrating technical expertise in generator engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a subject matter expert and key resource for power plant consulting projects, focusing on electrical generators, exciters, and auxiliaries
• Interpret project objectives and develop actionable plans to ensure schedule and hour targets are met or exceeded
• Prepare for client meetings and lead discussions
• Demonstrate technical expertise in generator engineering to execute projects independently
• Assist management with business opportunities, conferences, and training sessions
• Interface with industry organizations such as EPRI
• Be involved in field project execution, with travel requirements up to approximately 10-15%

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree (or higher) in Engineering
• 8-10+ years of proven experience in generator design, manufacturing, or service-related roles
• Proficiency in relevant engineering calculations, assessments, and analyses
• Willingness to travel as needed to support projects and business development initiatives
• Professional Engineering licensure
