Radiant Systems Inc is building a new technical product marketing discipline within SAP Business Data Cloud, and they are seeking an experienced external consultant to design and deliver a scalable, reusable technical product marketing toolkit. The role focuses on creating structured templates and messaging frameworks to enable the team to effectively communicate technical capabilities and align product marketing outputs to real-world data architecture challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Define the Technical Product Marketing Framework
- Review and validate messaging architecture for data practitioner personas
- Review and validate narrative structures (problem → capability → architectural proof → value realization)
- Develop a Reusable Template Kit: Deliver editable, structured templates including:
- Technical solution narrative templates
- Architecture storytelling templates (reference architecture slide structure, capability mapping, etc.)
- Data practitioner persona playbooks
- Use-case value articulation templates
- Competitive differentiation frameworks
- Field-ready “explain it simply” translation guides
- Technical blog / whitepaper scaffolding
- Demo storyline framework
- Technical launch narrative framework
- Validate Governance & Quality Standards
- Tone and voice guidance for technical audiences
- Standards for architectural diagrams and capability mapping
- Guidance for balancing technical depth and business value
- Review checklist for consistency and clarity
- Enable the Team
- Conduct workshops to walk through the toolkit
- Provide examples applied to 1–2 real BDC focus areas
- Ensure templates are intuitive and scalable
Requirements:
- Has built technical product marketing systems for enterprise B2B software companies
- Deeply understands modern data architectures (lakehouse, semantic layer, decoupled compute/storage, AI-ready platforms, etc.)
- Has experience marketing to data engineers, architects, and analytics leaders
- Has worked with platforms such as SAP, Snowflake, Databricks, or hyperscaler ecosystems
- Thinks in structured frameworks and operating models
- Can balance technical rigor with narrative clarity
- Has previously built reusable enablement toolkits (not just one-off assets)
- Familiarity with SAP ecosystem
- Experience inside large enterprise organizations
