Astoria AI is an early-stage startup focused on building a human-centered global talent intelligence platform powered by Artificial Intelligence. They are seeking a full-stack AI developer to design and build applications powered by LLMs and agentic workflows, collaborating closely with product and design teams to create intuitive and helpful features.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build features using modern LLM workflows (RAG, agents, tools, structured prompting, evals)
- Prototype quickly using AI coding tools - while ensuring code is still maintainable and reviewed
- Implement guardrails, observability, and feedback loops to make AI outputs reliable and safe
- Work with product to translate user problems into testable experiments and shippable features
- Integrate AI services (closed-source + open-source models) depending on cost, latency, privacy, and risk
- Contribute to our developer experience: CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and automation
- Stay current with emerging AI platforms, benchmarks, and best practices — and help us adopt them thoughtfully
