Chief DevSecOps Engineer

Sprezzatura is a Washington, DC-area Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that enables client success by supplying insight and leadership at the intersection of people, processes, and technology. The Chief DevSecOps Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of secure software solutions across the enterprise, overseeing a team of developers and ensuring compliance with security protocols throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Skilled in proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve development issues quickly and efficiently
• Strong communication skills to document and present technical solutions effectively
• Experience integrating automated testing, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD) tools

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills to document and present technical solutions effectively
• Experience integrating automated testing, continuous integration (CI), and continuous deployment (CD) tools
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline
• Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in software development, DevSecOps practices, algorithm design, and database architecture
• An additional 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the required education
• This role requires you to live within the United States
• Evidence of work authorization upon employment is required in compliance with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986
• Completion of USCIS form I-9 will be required to verify employment eligibility within 3 business days of the first day of employment
• Candidates must undergo a background investigation, including a review of employment history, education, criminal record, and financial history
• Employment offers are contingent upon successful passing a public trust clearance process
