They are seeking a motivated Deputy Project Manager to provide cross-functional support across an active project portfolio, combining project coordination, research support, and administrative functions.
Responsibilities:
- Support meeting logistics, agenda preparation, and note-taking across active projects
- Draft and manage client and internal communications on behalf of project leads
- Track tasks, action items, and deadlines using MS Planner or similar tools
- Maintain project documentation, file organization, and status reporting
- Monitor burn rates and flag variances to project leads
- Support schedule creation, milestone tracking, and deliverable coordination
- Assist with subcontractor follow-up and coordination as needed
- Draft, review, and format project deliverables across health, federal, and commercial engagements
- Assist with invoice tracking and coordination with finance as needed
- Step into Deputy PM functions on assigned projects as workload and capacity allow
- Coordinate across internal teams to ensure consistent communication and delivery
- Assist with qualitative data coding and analysis using Dedoose or similar platforms
- Support technical document and literature review
- Contribute to theme development and synthesis reporting
- Support proposal development across the health portfolio including editing, formatting, and compliance review
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (public health, social sciences, communications, business, or related)
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, research support, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated client-facing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Teams and MS Planner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision
- Comfort working across diverse federal and commercial client environments
- Experience in federal consulting, public health, or health research environments
- Dedoose or other qualitative research platform experience
