Adstra is a privately held company providing a comprehensive suite of data and identity solutions. They are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead product strategy and outcomes for key parts of their identity and data platform, focusing on customer needs and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Set product operating rhythms (planning, discovery, delivery, launch readiness) and ensure teams are aligned to clear outcomes (OKRs/KPIs)
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design leadership to maintain durable, empowered product teams with strong discovery capabilities
- Establish high standards for product strategy, discovery artifacts, written narratives, and decision-making quality
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Participate in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management to build diverse, inclusive, high-performing product teams
- Own product strategy and roadmap for assigned areas of Adstra’s data and identity offerings, grounded in customer needs, market dynamics, and measurable business outcomes
- Lead modern product discovery and delivery: continuously identify problems worth solving, validate solutions quickly, and ship iteratively to drive adoption, retention, revenue, and customer value
- Serve as the accountable leader for value and viability—ensuring solutions are loved by customers and workable across the business (privacy, security, legal, compliance, finance, sales, delivery, and operations)
- Develop deep customer and industry expertise across identity and data workflows (collection, resolution, enrichment, governance, activation, measurement) and translate insights into product advantage
- Create crisp positioning and product narratives in partnership with Product Marketing, Marketing, and Sales; enable GTM teams with compelling value propositions, pricing/packaging input, and competitive differentiation
- Partner with Engineering to define platform capabilities, API contracts, reliability/latency expectations, data quality metrics, and roadmap sequencing that supports scalable delivery
- Define and monitor success metrics (OKRs/KPIs), instrumentation, experimentation approaches, and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement
- Navigate complexity and constraints typical to the category: privacy-by-design, consent, data rights, identity graph quality, partner dependencies, and evolving regulation and platform policies
- Build alignment across stakeholders (Sales, Customer Success, Delivery, Legal/Privacy, Security, Data Science, Partnerships) and make clear tradeoffs with sound judgement
- Represent Product leadership in executive and customer-facing settings; communicate strategy, progress, risks, and decisions through structured, data-informed narratives and presentations
- Demonstrate strong AI literacy and apply AI thoughtfully across the product lifecycle (discovery, delivery, operations), including:
- Using AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, prototyping, and analytics workflows while maintaining rigorous judgement and validation
- Identifying opportunities to embed AI/ML into identity and data products (e.g., matching/linkage quality, entity resolution, propensity scoring, anomaly detection, automated governance) with clear ROI and guardrails
- Partnering with Engineering/Data Science to evaluate model performance, monitoring, bias/fairness concerns, explainability, and privacy-safe learning patterns
- Set standards for responsible AI usage aligned with customer trust, contractual obligations, and privacy/compliance requirements
Requirements:
- Deep experience in data + identity and adtech/martech ecosystems (e.g., identity resolution, onboarding, clean rooms, measurement/attribution, activation, privacy-safe data collaboration)
- Experience operating in environments similar to LiveRamp, TransUnion, Epsilon, and other data/identity providers and adjacent platforms
- Strong judgement, high integrity, crisp communication, and a relentless focus on outcomes

- 8+ years of experience building technology products, including 3+ years leading product teams
- Experience shipping data-intensive platforms, APIs, or enterprise SaaS products; experience with identity/data products strongly preferred
- Deep domain experience in data/identity and adtech/martech ecosystems; understands identity resolution, onboarding/activation, measurement, clean rooms, and partner/platform dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to lead empowered product teams to outcomes using modern discovery methods (rapid prototyping, customer testing, data-informed decisions)
- Strong product sense: customer empathy, market insight, business viability instincts, and mastery of product tradeoffs
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to influence through structured narratives, clear thinking, and data/logic—without relying on authority
- High integrity and strong collaboration skills; builds trust across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Legal/Privacy, and customer teams
- Proven ability to maintain focus, avoid “feature factory” dynamics, and drive toward the smallest set of changes that create the largest impact
- Strong analytical capability: defines metrics, reads signals, and translates ambiguity into prioritized action
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment; a true “CEO of the product” mindset with ownership of results
