Labcorp is seeking a Patient Billing Customer Service representative to join their Revenue Cycle Management Division. The role involves answering inbound calls from patients and assisting Spanish-speaking customers with their inquiries and payment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office and/or private insurance carriers
- 85% of calls will be assisting Spanish speaking customers
- Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances
- Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone
- Maintain performance goals
- Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience
- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish/English
- Ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment
- Professionally fluent and proficient in both English and Spanish, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service in Spanish, ensuring clear and effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients
