Sectra is a leading provider of enterprise medical imaging and healthcare IT solutions used by hospitals and health systems across the United States. The Project Manager at Sectra is responsible for leading the planning and execution of customer projects related to system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and migrations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of customer projects, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and migrations
- Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project plans and timelines to ensure projects remain on track and within scope
- Communicate regularly with customers and key stakeholders to manage expectations and provide status updates
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks related to scope, schedule, quality, and resources, escalating as needed
- Coordinate project tasks and resource requirements across internal teams
- Lead and drive multiple complex customer projects concurrently
- Support project-related financial activities, including budget tracking, revenue recognition, and invoicing in coordination with Finance
- Ensure project documentation is captured and maintained in accordance with Sectra best practices
- Travel as required for internal and customer engagements, up to 25%
Requirements:
- Experience leading customer-facing projects in a structured delivery environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience identifying and managing project risks and dependencies
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and time zones as needed
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in project management or a related field
- Formal project management training or certification (PMP or similar)
- Experience delivering large-scale or multi-site enterprise IT projects
- Familiarity with healthcare IT, medical imaging, or regulated environments
- Knowledge of RIS, PACS, DICOM, HL7, or clinical workflows in radiology, cardiology, or pathology
