The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is a dynamic state agency responsible for delivering a wide range of services to Georgia's most vulnerable populations. They are seeking a Child Support Customer Services Representative 2 for the Communication Center to communicate with clients and ensure that child support obligations are met through various means of contact.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates Child Support obligations and communicates necessary information to ensure obligations are met
- Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact
- Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations
- Obtains and documents detailed information
- Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of direct job-related experience
- OR One (1) year of experience at the lower-level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 1 (SST090) or a position equivalent
- Excellent oral, written, analytical, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment
- Home-based technology that is equipped with a Windows-based operating system and high-speed internet access in order to receive the agency's software applications required for candidates approved to telework
- Compliance with the State of GA teleworking policy requirements
- High school diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of call center experience
