About this role
Bloom Growth™ is a business growth operating system supported by software, seeking an Analytics Engineer to own and optimize their end-to-end data ecosystem. The role involves ensuring data flows seamlessly from various sources into Snowflake and transforming raw data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Own and monitor data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran to ensure high data uptime and reliability across SaaS tools and internal databases
- Architect and model data within Snowflake for performance, scalability, and analytical clarity
- Design, build, and maintain transformation workflows using dbt and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
- Implement reverse ETL processes using HighTouch to activate data within HubSpot and other operational systems
- Build interactive notebooks and dashboards in Hex to deliver real-time insights to leadership and key stakeholders
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies to maintain integrity and trust in reporting
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable data models and reporting solutions
- Continuously improve documentation, governance, and best practices across the modern data stack
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role
- Demonstrated proficiency with Snowflake and advanced SQL
- Experience working with modern data stack tools such as Fivetran, dbt, Airflow or Prefect, HighTouch, and Hex (or similar BI/notebook platforms)
- Proven ability to independently own data projects end-to-end, from ingestion through reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to thrive in a fully remote environment
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and reasoning abilities
- Advanced degree or specialized certification in data engineering, analytics, or a related field
- Experience in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment
- Familiarity with collaborative notebooks and modern BI workflows
- Experience designing scalable data governance and documentation practices
