They are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Associate Systems Engineers to contribute to the development and sustainment of advanced defense systems, collaborating across disciplines to ensure systems meet rigorous performance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to systems engineering efforts across new development, production, and sustainment projects, ensuring alignment with program goals and technical objectives
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop, maintain, and verify system requirements, interfaces, and test criteria
- Perform comprehensive analyses related to affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, human factors, survivability, security, and product assurance
- Support technical reviews, design assessments, and program milestones by providing detailed system analyses and documentation
- Track and manage requirements, risks, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness levels to ensure project success
- Assist in adopting and implementing modern systems engineering methodologies, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Participate in travel as required for project meetings, site visits, or international assignments to support program objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non-US qualification directly related to the work
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- The ability to secure an interim or final U.S. Secret Security Clearance post-employment
- An active U.S. Security Clearance
- Prior experience in systems engineering
- Familiarity with aircraft, mission systems, or weapon system development
- Experience supporting verification and certification efforts
- Technical proficiency with tools such as DOORS, Cameo, MSOSA, SysML, Python, C++, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps, and ReliaSoft
- Experience in model-based systems engineering
- Working with multi-disciplinary teams
