Business Analyst

CDW is seeking a Business Analyst to support the optimization of a newly implemented Provider Data Management (PDM) platform. This role will focus on analyzing data flows, identifying root causes, and improving how provider information is standardized, governed, and presented across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document current-state data flows from five source systems into the PDM platform
• Identify gaps in data ingestion, transformation logic, formatting, and presentation
• Investigate discrepancies such as incorrect phone numbers, misaligned location names, and inconsistent provider information
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand departmental requirements and provider display preferences
• Define future-state workflows and data standards to improve accuracy and usability
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement data mapping, transformation, and validation improvements
• Develop documentation including business requirements, data mapping specifications, process flows, and data dictionaries
• Support user adoption by helping internal teams better leverage the PDM platform
• Assist in establishing ongoing data governance and quality controls

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in healthcare or provider data environments
• Strong experience working with multi-source data integration projects
• Experience analyzing data ingestion, mapping, transformation, and data quality issues
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and data specifications
• Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
• Experience documenting process flows, data mappings, and business requirements
• Experience with provider data, directory systems, or healthcare operations
• Background in data governance or data quality initiatives
• Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes, or system integrations
• Experience supporting enterprise platform implementations
