Revolution Technologies is seeking a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer for the US Space Force Space Development Agency. This role involves developing and deploying advanced ground operational systems for missile tracking, requiring expertise in systems engineering and integration.
Responsibilities:
- Systems engineering that includes decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, and system design behaviors
- Pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads capabilities to track missiles
- Analysis and fusion of missile tracking data provided by satellite to the ground for processing and rapidly providing and disseminating the information
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field AND 8+ years of job-related experience
- OR Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
- Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
- Minimum of 15+ years of recent designing and developing systems that can solve complex problems using algorithms
- Minimum of 10+ years of recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters
- Agile experience preferred
- Recent experience with missile tracking systems design and architecture, and sensor fusion techniques
- Recent experience designing logic, assessing and scheduling satellite services to track missiles
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
- Experience with image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
