Platform Engineer

Relevate Health is seeking a Platform Engineer to assist in redesigning their streaming technology and modernizing their infrastructure. The role involves working with cloud technologies and collaborating with the team to maintain and operate their tech stack while ensuring security and modernization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in redesigning our streaming technology
• Assist in modernizing our infrastructure and core technologies
• Expect to operate across a diverse range of industry standard cloud technologies
• Work with our team to develop a competent understanding of the current state of our tech stack and streaming technologies
• Work with our team to redesign our streaming technologies from the ground up with an emphasis on security and modernization
• In the long term, this role will help maintain and operate our cloud technologies, provide support to Software Engineers who deploy in our infrastructure, participate in security assessments and keep the ship sailing!
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in industry writing software deployed at-scale
• 2+ years of experience in any web language (React/Node/etc)
• 2+ years of experience in any backend language (Java/Go/Express/etc)
• 2+ years of experience with database technologies (MongoDB/MariaDB/Postgres/etc)
• Proven work experience in taking on, executing and delivering solutions to complex problems both individually and as part of a team
• Any prior experience with WebRTC
• 2+ years of experience with any cloud provider (AWS/Azure/etc)
• 2+ years of experience with a cloud orchestrator (K8s/EKS/AKS/etc)
• 1+ years of experience with ArgoCD or similar
