They are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to support the Utah Department of Health and Human Services in developing impactful solutions for the state's medical cannabis software system built on the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions
- Configure and customize Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce products
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other state systems using APIs, web services, and middleware
- Implement and manage Salesforce security and access controls
- Understand Salesforce administration
- Provide technical guidance and training to developers with less experience
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Ensure the state's medical cannabis software system meets required security standards
- Perform regular system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Document technical designs, code, and configurations
- Work within an agile development environment
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce development
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce platform
- Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization
- Experience with Salesforce APIs, web services, and integration patterns
- Knowledge of Salesforce security and access controls
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Salesforce Certifications such as Platform Developer I or II are highly desirable
- Experience with Salesforce Administration
- Preference given for candidates with Power BI, JIRA, Omniscripts/Vlocity, Mulesoft, or Github (code repository tool)
