tango is a leader in home care health management and is preparing for significant growth. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to support the modernization, stability, automation, and optimization of our Azure-based cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure services including resource groups, virtual machines, app services, function apps, load balancers, storage accounts, ACR, and service bus
- Implement containerization using Docker where appropriate
- Apply automation and DevOps best practices to improve stability, scalability, and performance
- Refactor, streamline, and optimize Azure DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD) for improved maintainability and efficiency
- Improve and maintain IIS application deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps Release pipelines
- Modernize and automate database deployment processes, including SQL deployments and schema update automation
- Implement deployment validations, guardrails, and rollback strategies
- Support Dev, QA, Staging, and Production environments in coordination with the environment owner
- Collaborate with Production Support teams for rapid incident response
- Assist with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and process automation
- Work collaboratively to improve environment reliability and deployment workflows
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA, PHI, SOC2, and other healthcare regulatory requirements
- Support audit activities, penetration test reviews, and compliance documentation
- Implement secure DevOps practices and best-practice security controls in infrastructure and pipelines
- Configure and maintain monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Support incident troubleshooting, alert refinement, and performance optimization
- Collaborate effectively with offshore teams maintaining lower environments
- Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure security, and data engineering teams
- Communicate clearly and contribute positively to cross-functional initiatives
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation including runbooks, deployment steps, configuration details, and audit materials
- Provide accurate evidence and reports during compliance and security reviews
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship (due to handling of protected healthcare data)
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience with Azure services including: App Services, Function Apps, VMs, Storage, Load Balancers, ACR, Service Bus
- Proficiency with: Azure DevOps Pipelines (CI/CD), Docker/containerization, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep), PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Understanding of HIPAA, PHI, SOC2, and secure DevOps best practices
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams
- GitHub Actions and GitHub workflow integrations
- Experience with New Relic or other advanced observability platforms
- Experience with .NET Core, .NET, C#, and/or React to better support application teams
- Healthcare payer, provider, or post-acute care experience
- Relevant DevOps or cloud certifications
