Structural Engineer - IV (ANSYS-APDL)

RISINGSUN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and a solid foundation in seismic engineering and finite element methods to support complex project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis of concrete and steel structures using finite element methods
• Conduct seismic structural analyses for nuclear-related applications
• Work with applicable industry codes and standards including: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, AISC N690, Steel Construction Manual, Seismic Design Manual

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in ANSYS APDL (Required)
• Civil engineering experience (Required)
• Strong experience in seismic structural analysis
• Experience in analysis and design of concrete, steel, and composite structures
• Experience with AISC / N690
• Programming skills (e.g., MATLAB or Python) – preferred but not required
• P.E. (U.S.) or P.Eng. (Canada) certification – preferred
