They are seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Attorney to manage plaintiff-side personal injury cases, focusing on motor vehicle accidents and slip-and-fall incidents, while collaborating in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents and slip-and-fall incidents
- Conduct thorough case evaluations, including intake, investigation, and discovery processes
- Develop and execute litigation strategies tailored to each case, advocating vigorously in negotiations and court proceedings
- Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, motions, and pleadings in accordance with jurisdictional requirements
- Represent clients at depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings, taking on first-chair responsibilities when appropriate
- Collaborate with experts, medical professionals, and support staff to build strong cases
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the litigation process
- Ensure compliance with all legal standards, ethical guidelines, and firm policies
- Participate in firm meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to stay current with legal trends and best practices
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active licensure to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- 5 to 10 years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a focus on plaintiff-side cases
- Strong understanding of personal injury law, courtroom procedures, and litigation strategies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage a high caseload efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client advocacy and ethical standards
- First-chair trial experience is highly preferred; second-chair candidates with substantial hands-on experience will also be considered
