Senior Software Engineer - Mobile (Android)

Eight Sleep is the world’s first sleep fitness company, dedicated to optimizing sleep through innovative technology. The Senior Android Software Engineer will work closely with various teams to enhance the mobile app experience, ensuring high-quality features and performance for users.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct code reviews
• Ensure code quality
• Optimize app performance to enhance user experience

Requirements:

• 4+ years of shipping high-quality features for native Android apps
• Fluent proficiency in Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Coroutines/Flow/MVVM/MVI
• Experience building scalable, testable enterprise grade apps
• Ability to work efficiently in a rapid paced environment while maintaining a focus on stability
• Proficiency in building custom UI components in Compose
• Experience building software for hardware products, particularly in the health/medical field
• Experience working with Health related apps and peripherals
