Atlas Tech is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer with a passion for learning and problem-solving to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data migration processes, integrating data from various sources, and optimizing data workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Cloud and Data Architect to maintain batch and file-based data processing pipelines
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and data visualization solutions
- Ensure integrations and data pipelines follow secure coding, authentication, authorization, and audit logging best practices
- Design and implement Appian-to-Oracle interfaces supporting enterprise operational systems
- Design and develop a user interface within Appian to manage roles, permissions, and access workflows
- Ensure data integration across diverse sources (on-premises, cloud, ADLS, databases) into platforms like Azure, AWS, and Oracle
- Automate tasks such as data validation, transformation, and reconciliation to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Integrate and operationalize AWS Glue and related AWS data services for ETL, transformation, and orchestration
- Develop JSON-based pass-through integration patterns to ensure flexible, future-ready interoperability across platforms
- Enable enterprise analytics through integration with Power BI, AWS QuickSight, and/or QLIK Sense
- Provide end-to-end interface lifecycle management, including monitoring, error handling, logging, and performance optimization
- Implement role-based security architecture aligned with enterprise governance and compliance requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar automation frameworks
- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering tools, technologies, and best practices
Requirements:
- US Citizenship
- Must possess a Public Trust or Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud engineering integration projects
- Experience implementing solutions in multi-cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Strong understanding of role-based access control, identity integration, and secure application design within low-code or cloud environments
- Familiarity with data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automated deployment practices supporting secure, repeatable releases
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly desirable
