Senior Product Designer

Cvent is a leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, committed to transforming the industry through innovative technology. The Senior Product Designer will blend design expertise and strategic thinking to create user-centered experiences, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to deliver exceptional product outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand user needs, gather requirements, and translate them into seamless product designs
• Take end-to-end ownership of the design process, from research and ideation through execution and delivery
• Raise the bar for design quality, ensuring all work is visually cohesive, innovative, and aligned with user and business needs
• Build and maintain scalable design systems to drive consistency and efficiency across the platform
• Develop and execute a strategic design vision that aligns with company goals, delivering solutions that are both beautiful and highly functional
• Facilitate clear communication with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create unified workflows and cohesive product experiences
• Apply your “+1 skill” (e.g., deep user research, advanced prototyping, motion design, accessibility improvements) to increase the impact of your work
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the design process and elevate the user experience

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in product design
• Strong ability to connect design decisions to broader product and business goals
• Proven track record of creating user-centered designs that are scalable, aesthetically pleasing, and highly functional
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional user experiences and visually compelling design work
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining design excellence
• Demonstrated experience mentoring junior designers and sharing knowledge within a team setting
• Experience building and maintaining design systems is a plus
• A Bachelor degree (ideally in Design, Human-Computer Interaction) or equivalent experience preferred
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate more effectively with engineers
• Curiosity about emerging AI tools (such as Midjourney, Cursor, or similar) and how they can enhance design workflows
