Forescout Technologies Inc. is a leader in cybersecurity, dedicated to protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats. They are looking for a strategic Network Security Product Manager to define the direction of their network security product portfolio, oversee product development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize customer value.
Responsibilities:
- Update and manage a detailed backlog aligned to the product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer needs, industry standards, and technology advancements
- Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and market trends in network security to identify opportunities and threats
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans
- Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure successful product development, launch, and support
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather product requirements and translate them into detailed specifications for development teams
- Follow the product development process, including feature definition, design, and testing, to ensure products are delivered on time and meet quality standards, employing Agile development methodologies
- Understand customer use cases and requirements working with UX to connect with users and create interaction and experiences
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, gathering feedback and insights to drive product improvements and enhancements
- Monitor the performance of network security products in the market, tracking key metrics and making data-driven adjustments as needed
- Ensure that network security products comply with relevant industry standards and security best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager in network and cybersecurity industry, focused on Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree) is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of network security technologies and industry trends
- Strong understanding of IT, OT, Zero Trust, Network Segmentation, RADIUS, TACACS+, as well as Endpoint concepts and best practices
- Strong analytical and interdisciplinary problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong project management skills
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and SCRUM, product management certification (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing, Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus
- Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas: Zero Trust, Segmentation, NAC, RADIUS/TACACS+, Identity & Directory services, endpoint deployment and integration
- Familiarity with Network and Security solutions including Cisco ISE, FortiNAC, Arista MSS-G, Meraki, Aruba, Tenable, Qualys, Crowdstrike, Zscaler, Splunk, Service NOW
- Experience with Federal certifications a plus: FIPs, CC, DOD/APL, STIGs
- Cloud experience: Azure, FedRAMP and DoD Impact Levels
