RemX | The Workforce Experts is a leading manufacturer of engineered pipe systems, and they are seeking a Sales Engineer to drive project development and technical engagement across the Western United States. This role involves representing the company in a high-visibility capacity, managing sales cycles, and serving as a liaison between various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company as the primary technical and business development contact across a large Western U.S. territory (San Diego → Seattle; El Paso → Denver)
- Meet with engineering firms, design teams, and project stakeholders via Teams or in person to educate, influence specifications, and advance active opportunities
- Complete comprehensive training in underground pipe design and installation, becoming a trusted technical resource for clients
- Manage a one‑year average sales cycle, guiding opportunities from early design through award
- Take over active projects already in progress, ensuring continuity and driving them to completion
- Focus primarily on project development (business development) with some sales closing responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between the market and the internal engineering/sales teams, with technical design work handled by the Houston-based group
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting using Salesforce CRM
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience in technical sales, project development, or engineering roles tied to infrastructure, utilities, or pipeline systems
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to engineering audiences
- Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple active projects
- Self-driven, organized, and effective working independently across a large territory
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Salesforce experience
