About this role
Ampstek is seeking a highly skilled and motivated GCVE Engineer with strong Terraform expertise to join their Google Cloud Infrastructure team. This role is critical in designing, deploying, and managing VMware workloads on Google Cloud while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, deploying, and managing VMware workloads on Google Cloud using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and automated cloud solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 2 years in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
- Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Strong understanding of VMware vSphere, NSX-T, and HCX
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with GCP services such as VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Logging
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
