Cyera is a leading data security platform focused on reinventing how businesses secure data in the cloud era. As a Sr. Analytics Engineer, you will drive the architecture and optimization of analytics infrastructure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data insights support business decisions and enhance product security.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure that supports real-time data insights and reporting
- Design efficient and secure data models and warehouses that facilitate optimized querying, reporting, and analytics workflows
- Implement, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT processes that handle the ingestion, transformation, and loading of large, complex datasets, ensuring data quality and security at every step
- Collaborate with data scientists, security engineers, and product managers to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and build analytics solutions that directly contribute to business objectives
- Ensure that all data-related processes meet the highest standards of security, privacy, and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.). Work closely with the security team to design secure analytics environments
- Continuously monitor and optimize data infrastructure performance for scalability, efficiency, and reliability
- Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting systems that enable stakeholders to easily access key insights and metrics
- Automate routine tasks and processes, leveraging modern data tools and frameworks to improve team efficiency
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a data/analytics engineer, with at least 2+ years in a senior role
- Expert in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and transformation
- Proficient in data modeling and database design (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Deep experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow, Apache Spark) and cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, architecture, and technologies
- Experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Familiarity with data versioning, CI/CD, and DevOps practices for analytics engineering
- A strong background or understanding of data security principles, encryption, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Proven ability to handle complex datasets, troubleshoot issues, and find innovative solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
