About this role
SRM Digital LLC is seeking a GenAI Engineer to design, build, and deploy generative AI solutions using large language models. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing AI solutions, implementing prompt engineering, and collaborating with various teams to meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop GenAI solutions using LLMs (GPT, Claude, LLaMA, etc.)
- Implement prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and fine-tuning techniques
- Build and integrate AI-powered features into applications and APIs
- Work with vector databases for embeddings and semantic search
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to translate business needs into AI solutions
- Optimize model performance, latency, and cost
- Ensure AI solutions follow security, privacy, and ethical AI standards
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face)
- Experience with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and embeddings
- Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, ChromaDB)
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field
- Experience with model fine-tuning (LoRA, PEFT, RLHF basics)
- Knowledge of MLOps tools and CI/CD for AI workflows
- Experience with multi-modal models (text, image, audio)
- Background in NLP, ML, or Data Science
