7Seventy Recruiting is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support commercial energy programs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service through various communication channels while ensuring accurate information delivery and efficient issue resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct non-scripted customer interactions via phone, email, and chat
- Provide information regarding rebate status, scheduling, submission procedures, and program guidelines
- Perform professional outbound outreach when required
- Review and assist customers with energy application inquiries and related program questions
- Document interactions accurately using call center technology and internal systems
- Support customers within a structured, paperless work environment
- Complete additional administrative duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of professional work experience
- 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
- Previous customer service or call center experience
- Strong computer skills, including accurate data entry and database navigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and positive energy in a team environment
- Experience supporting homeowners, contractors, or program participants with application troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze information and develop solutions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Typing speed of 45–50 words per minute preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Professional interpersonal skills, including courtesy and cooperation
- Willingness to work limited overtime when necessary
- Ability to sit for extended periods in a distraction-free environment
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering a positive customer experience
- Ability and desire to quickly learn and understand energy-related programs
