Software Engineer III

6sense is on a mission to revolutionize how B2B organizations create revenue by predicting customers most likely to buy. The Software Engineer III will own platform engineering responsibilities, ensuring services and infrastructure remain scalable, reliable, secure, and highly available.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and scale services and infrastructure components
• Own critical systems including Hadoop, Presto clusters, Kubernetes infrastructure, and deployment pipelines
• Develop and deploy services to improve availability, usability, and observability
• Write, review, and debug production-grade code in Python and Java
• Design and maintain high-availability, fault-tolerant systems
• Implement observability solutions (metrics, logging, alerting)
• Contribute to infrastructure security and configuration management best practices
• Support engineering teams with platform enablement and troubleshooting
• Contribute to open-source projects when required

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience
• Strong Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals
• Proficiency in Python and Java
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable service-oriented architectures
• Experience with high-availability distributed systems
• Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, production-quality code
