Senior Software Engineer (Healthcare Integrations) - Contract

Tech Holding is a full-service consulting firm focused on delivering high-quality solutions to clients. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver healthcare integration solutions, working closely with various teams to modernize healthcare processes while ensuring reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build integration solutions that connect online patient intake, referral funnels, call center systems, and downstream clinical platforms
• Develop and consume APIs to enable data flow across healthcare applications and services
• Integrate external systems and services into EMR platforms, including Cerner or similar systems
• Partner with product, clinical, and operational stakeholders to translate workflows into technical solutions
• Support innovation initiatives involving AI-driven services, automation, and modern healthcare tooling
• Ensure solutions meet healthcare security, privacy, and compliance expectations
• Contribute to system design and architectural decisions while remaining hands-on in delivery
• Operate comfortably in environments with evolving requirements and loosely defined problem spaces

Requirements:

• Senior-level engineering experience with a strong focus on system integrations
• Proven experience designing and working with APIs and distributed systems
• Experience building and supporting production-grade applications
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and or Azure
• Ability to independently own technical workstreams and drive solutions forward
• Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment
• Experience with Cerner
• Background working with EMR or EHR platforms
• Experience in healthcare, health tech, or other regulated environments
• Exposure to call center platforms, patient intake systems, or referral workflows
• Experience integrating AI-enabled services or automation tools
• Comfort balancing speed, pragmatism, and long-term maintainability
