Support Engineer

Quantum World Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based applications and production support environments. The role involves providing L2/L3 production support, monitoring applications, performing root cause analysis, and working closely with various teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications
• Monitor applications using APM tools and Splunk dashboards
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve production issues within defined SLAs
• Analyze logs and debug application-level issues
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation
• Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications running on Kubernetes
• Perform deployments and support release activities
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams
• Participate in on-call support and handle major incidents
• Ensure system stability, availability, and performance

Requirements:

• 6+ Years of experience in Application Support Engineering
• Strong expertise in Java-based applications
• Hands-on experience in APM tools
• Experience with Splunk
• Proficient in SQL
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems
• Strong understanding of incident management and troubleshooting in high-availability systems
