Owner.com is focused on creating the most effective guest ordering experience in local commerce. They are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on guest ordering and menu conversion, driving high-impact solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams and applying machine learning and automation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a team of Engineers focused on guest ordering and menu conversion
- Own execution and outcomes across conversion, quality, and performance in the guest ordering funnel
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and cross functional teams to deliver high impact, guest centric solutions
- Work alongside a strong technical partner to drive clarity, alignment, and momentum
- Help shape how applied machine learning and automation improve menu quality and conversion at scale
- Stay close to the work by unblocking engineers, reviewing designs, and contributing when helpful
- Build a culture of high standards, urgency, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience managing or tech leading engineering teams
- Prior Staff-level engineering experience or equivalent technical depth
- Strong product sense and an instinct for high leverage work
- Comfort operating in cross functional, dependency rich environments
- Hands on mindset with a desire to stay technically sharp
- Coachable, curious, and excited to grow with the team
- Interest or experience shipping ML or AI driven product systems is a plus
