IT Principal Product Manager

CommonSpirit Health is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit Catholic healthcare organizations, dedicated to building a healthier future through integrated health services. The Principal Product Manager will lead technical aspects of complex applications and products, manage multiple solutions, and provide guidance to engineering teams while ensuring alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and direct technical aspects of highly complex applications and products to meet end-user needs and business goals
• Manage multiple complex solutions, providing technical guidance to software engineering teams and overseeing project contributions
• Lead troubleshooting, act as a subject matter expert for software design/coding, and mentor all engineers
• Define and manage the roadmap and deployment of multiple large and enterprise level product development initiatives within the portfolio
• Own responsibility for key performance indicators and financial metrics for each product
• Define criteria for prioritization of all stakeholder needs for each product
• Act as point of escalation and manage resolution of all issues and risks throughout the definition to deployment of multiple products
• Define and implement continuous process improvements
• Manage communications and all relevant stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelors Other in Computer Science, Technology, Medical, Business discipline or equivalent experience
• 12+ years' experience working in IT as an Application Systems Analyst or Technical Analyst role
• 8 or more years' experience application support, implementation or development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry is required
• Experience working with project life cycle or project management methodologies required
