Software Development Engineer in Test 5 - Plans and Pricing

Netflix is a leading streaming service dedicated to entertaining the world. They are seeking a Senior UI Test Engineer to enhance user experiences through high-quality code and innovative full-stack solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

• You work closely with cross-functional partners to communicate impact and understand business requirements
• You will consult on test plans and test strategies for new product innovations
• You are self-motivated and high-performing, with a passion for both the business and the tech
• You have a tester mindset, be curious and come up with interesting test scenarios
• You will improve our automation test stability by building the test pyramid, restructuring unstable tests, and writing new tests
• You have deep expertise in software testing via automation, preferably with web or TV
• Experience with native mobile based applications (iOS, Android) is a nice to have
• You have excellent debugging skills in diagnosing issues in a multi-tier web architecture

• Experienced with building all layers of the test pyramid and familiarity with common testing tools and frameworks
• Capable of building deep context in a distributed architecture comprising many systems and services
• Demonstrates proven leadership for managing and closing automation tickets
• Incredibly selfless and willing to 'Pick up the Trash'
• Exhibits exceptional grit and persistence when it comes to solving challenging technical problems
• Displays a strong sense of independence, bias towards action, and inclination for collaboration
• Experience with native mobile based applications (iOS, Android)
