About this role
Kontakt.io is building the platform that care operations run on, aiming to improve efficiency in hospitals. As a Software Engineer, you will develop systems to enhance patient flow and automate hospital operations, directly impacting care delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Develop systems that orchestrate patient milestones
- Identify and prioritize discharge barriers
- Prevent unit-level bottlenecks before they happen
- Automating escalations and high-census communications across hospital operations
Requirements:
- 4+ years backend experience with Java/Kotlin, Python, JS/Angular preferred
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals a must
- Experience with both OOP and Functional Programming is a plus
- 4+ years designing and building APIs that are simple to use, fast to respond, and scalable
- 2+ years building & designing UI's for frontend apps
- 2+ years developing and deploying container-based apps
- Comfortable building new products from the ground up, in a small team
- Experience with event sourced architectures (Kafka etc.) preferred
