Condor is a high-growth company focused on providing financial intelligence solutions for life sciences organizations. The Sales Solution Engineer will work closely with Account Executives to drive revenue by conducting in-depth discovery, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful client engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support in-depth discovery with finance, FP&A, accounting, and clinical operations stakeholders
- Translate customer workflows, pain points, and success criteria into clear Condor solution designs
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer maturity and buyer personas (CFO, Accounting, Controller, FP&A, Clinical Ops)
- Support pilots, POCs, and technical validations during the sales cycle
- Partner with Account Executives on deal strategy, qualification, and technical win plans
- Carry a shared or individual quota and actively influence deal progression, win rates, and close velocity
- Support expansion opportunities by demonstrating additional modules, use cases, and value
- Respond to technical, security, and compliance requirements (RFPs, SOC, audit readiness)
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure clean handoff and early value realization
- Surface recurring customer requirements, objections, and product feedback to Product and Engineering
- Contribute to demo environments, discovery frameworks, and solution playbooks as the GTM team scales
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant
- Experience in biopharma, life sciences, CROs, or healthcare SaaS
- Experience in a quota-carrying or revenue-influencing role
- Strong discovery and demonstration skills with executive-level audiences
- Proven success supporting complex enterprise SaaS sales cycles
- Ability to clearly communicate technical and financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort working with financial, operational, or transactional data
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving Series A environment
- Familiarity with clinical trial finance, accruals, forecasting, or budgeting workflows
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
- Understanding of audit, controls, and compliance concepts (SOC 1 / SOC 2, SOX)
- Experience selling to CFOs, Controllers, FP&A, and Clinical Operations leaders
