Industrial Engineer

Butterball is a well-known brand in the turkey industry, dedicated to providing quality products. They are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes through maintenance and repair of machinery and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize industrial machinery and electrical systems to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
• Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with engineering guidelines and safety protocols
• Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics using appropriate tools and techniques
• Observe machine operations, identify deviations, and report malfunctions or safety concerns to engineering leadership
• Support and participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing equipment efficiency, workflow, and preventative maintenance programs
• Review engineering diagrams, schematics, instructions, and manuals to support machine setup, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs for compliance and analysis
• Ensure all work complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), USDA regulations, and company quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
• Perform additional technical duties as assigned to support overall manufacturing operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals in English
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, gauges, and calipers
• Understanding of manufacturing equipment operation, process flow, and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make data-driven decisions
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting is preferred
