Full Stack Engineer

Vero AI is a small, fast-moving team building an agentic AI platform for auditing and compliance. They are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to contribute across the full stack, working on frontend features, backend services, and infrastructure while collaborating closely with product stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• You'll work alongside experienced engineers on a well-architected stack, shipping features, maintaining and improving existing systems, and helping us make good technical decisions as our product evolves
• You'll sit close to the business, working directly with product stakeholders and occasionally with engineers at client companies on technical integration questions
• You'll contribute across the full stack, including frontend features, backend services, infrastructure, and the AI layer that ties it all together

Requirements:

• React and TypeScript — including structured state management, complex data tables, and form validation
• Python with a REST API framework (Django, FastAPI, Flask, or similar) — building and extending APIs, migrations, and data modeling
• PostgreSQL
• Experience integrating external APIs in production (REST, webhooks, streaming)
• Experience building or working within agentic or multi-step AI pipeline systems
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including multi-environment deployments
• Ability to work in a small team environment without a large engineering organization around you
• Ability to communicate directly with non-technical stakeholders and context-switch across different parts of the stack
• Kubernetes and Terraform experience
• Experience with LLM APIs in production (Vertex AI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
• Strong Django and Django REST Framework experience
• Redis and Celery for task queues and caching
• Docker and CI/CD pipeline experience (we use GitHub Actions)
• Background in a regulated industry such as fintech, healthcare IT, or legal tech
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks like SOC 2, SOX, ISO 27001, or NIST
