Machine Learning Engineer

Acceler8 Talent is a rapidly scaling, venture-backed marketplace startup seeking an AI/ML Engineer. In this role, you will build and optimize ranking and recommendation systems to enhance matchmaking quality in their hiring marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Ship and own ranking and recommendation systems end-to-end in production
• Improve matchmaking quality across a two-sided marketplace (who sees whom, in what order, and why)
• Build robust evaluation frameworks (A/B testing, bias, reliability, business impact)
• Optimize marketplace dynamics: incentives, feedback loops, cold start, supply & demand
• Apply AI to automate workflows and increase throughput without breaking trust
• Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and ops to tie ML directly to business outcomes

Requirements:

• Experience in building ranking and recommendation systems
• Proficiency in AI/ML techniques and frameworks
• Ability to improve matchmaking quality in a two-sided marketplace
• Experience in building robust evaluation frameworks (A/B testing, bias, reliability, business impact)
• Knowledge of optimizing marketplace dynamics (incentives, feedback loops, cold start, supply & demand)
• Experience in applying AI to automate workflows
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and ops
